Book VS Film

Question 2.. IMAGERY: metaphors and images in the film: WATER (swimming pool, beach, aquarium...) and FIRE (petrol station, fights...), DAY and NIGHT, the MOON. What do they mean?
 
There are many metaphors in the story. I think that the water that appears in the film, means peace, and it's when Romeo and Juliet are together without any problems.
The topic of the fire is when the two families fight each other, simply is hate.  The day means hate too, and the night is love, because Romeo and Juliet can stay together. The moon is love and absence, the two things. Because the moon changes all the time, like Romeo and Juliet that they can't be together all the time.

In that photo there are metaphors too! The image seems a skull, but into this there are Romeo and Juliet, and above it there are the two families fighting. The roses is a metaphor too; when they are beautiful and colourful is love, and when they are dead it's hate.

I always see photos of National Geographic, I love everything about nature and animals.

I think that the nature are very beautiful, but the most part of people don't see that. For example, I love see the trees in winter,with the shape of its branches. Or noticing the small details of my cat when she sleeps. Her eyes, her fur, her whiskers.. Because many times, the little details are the most important!

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

I have waiting for this film more than a year, and I can't wait more! I thought that this March I will can see it, but I must to wait for April... But well, I think that the film will be fabulous, so no problem! I will go to the IMAX in Barcelona to see it with some friends of mine.

I have seen all the different trailers, interviews, songs and more for Youtube. There are one of them:

Johnny uses a strange but funny voice in the film. And his image, with those eyes and hair... all him are fabulous. He always puts in the skin of every character that he interpret... I love that, he's more than an actor!

When I saw the big head that Tim put in his wife, Helena, that impressed me so much. It's incredible all the special effects that are included in the film. Tim decided to mix stop motion, motion capture and reals actors in the movie, and the results are incredible.

Finally... I think that I'm mad as a hatter too... so I can enter in wonderland, no? I hope that yes :)

THE LOVELY BONES

Today I have gone to the cinema to see The Lovely Bones of Peter Jackson. Oh my god, it's a great film! Really, I have cried a lot...

The story tells the life of Susie Salmon, a girl that was raped and murdered. But she was in the heaven seeing her family and her friends all the time. Her killer, a man of her neighborhood, try to hide the proves, but she give some proves at her family for that they discover the killer.
There are some scenes romantics, tragics, with a lot of suspense.. there's a bit of everything. I confess that I have closed the eyes in some scenes because I was scared!

And well, I won't explain the end, of course.

Peter Jackson suprise me again with this film.
It's a great movie of a great book.
The images on the film are fantastic, and the recording of the scenes are fabulous. When Susie is in the world in the middle of the earth and the sky, the landscape is very beauty and peaceful...

Simply, I recommend this story at all the people. I can't explain this with words, so it must to see the film.

DANNY ELFMAN

Danny Elfman is a compositor that I really like. Is a genious! His music are very great, and brings magic at the films. I knew him with The Ice Dance of Edward Scissorhands. Well, I have listened a lot of music of him, but I didn't know who were him. But finding, I found him, and all his music.

He has participated in a lot of films of Tim Burton. Well, I have seen a very of films with the Elfman's style, and I love all these music!

I think that a film without music isn't a film... because the music is magic. Makes you cry, smile... Danny Elfman has the gift of puts music that fit in every scene.

And he made the melody that all we know... The Simpsons. I have just discovered that!

In summary.. I love Danny's music, and I hope that he will make a loooooot of songs more. And if can be, with Tim Burton, why not.

I must confess, that music of Spiderman motivate me very much.. Jajaja. When I was younger, the music was the things that I loved more of the film, but I didn't know who was of Danny Elfman. But I was all the day listening it!

And I must remember The Ice Dance from Edward Scissorhands... very lovely!

CARNIVAL '10 - ST.PERE

I think that this Carnival was the best in my life! Paula and me were disguised of Vikings.

The Saturday started sleeping all the morning (that's good), and at the afternoon three friends of mine of Vidreres came to sleep at Natalia Varela's home, and I too. 

At 11 o'clock at night, we went to Paula's house, and after at the party in Centre Civic. It was a great night, with all my friends, dancing and jumping like mad.

 Moreover... I met with an Edward Scissorhands! LOOOOOVE! I went to ask if I could make a photo with him, although I didn't know him. But the next day, my brother said me that he was a friend of him. Well, the surprise was nice :)

I think that next Carnival I will disguise of Edward. But I don't know how to get their scissor-hands... Mmm..

MY B-DAY

February 4th I made 16 years old. The day was Thursday, but Saturday my friends and me went to the Japanese Restaurant in Figueres for dinner. All was very delicious, except sushi that it didn't like me.

You could catch all the dishes that you wanted, it was a buffet. So we ate a lot of many different dishes.

Mmmm...

We were two tables, because we were too many people. In my table, we were Pablo, Paula, Aura, Manel, Guillem and me, and we were who ate more!

After that, we went for a walk in Figueres. That was a happy day (night) for me, because I was with my friends, and that's the most important! 

MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

Like every year, I've decided to change some things of my life.

One of my new year resolutions is to pass the ESO with good results. (if I can...). Because one thing that I have to change is that I mustn't be so lazy, but I think that's impossible...

I hope that this year will happen special moments for me. And that I will be with my friends all the time.

Other new resolution, is that Barça will win the champions, the league... and well, all that can be possible. I think that it's possible, 'cause Barça's a great team, and Pep's God!

Well... my last new year resolution is that I can see Alice in Wonderland of Tim Burton in IMAX 3D in Barcelona with my best friends. And I hope that will premiere many good films!
